In the rain, visibility is poor because of traces of wipers and glare. What's the cause, and what can I do?

When the wiper rubber deteriorates, it can cause streaking. Touch the rubber, and if it is hard or brittle, replace the rubber. The glare is caused by traffic film, an oily deposit of contaminants from the road and exhaust fumes. It can be removed with Glare Cut Liquid, Glaco Glass Compound 'Roll On' or Glass Compound Z.
